Just started trying this game, cool concept and having fun so far. Mainly commenting since I got this error when I died the same turn I tried to go upstairs, so I thought I'd report it:

I've found the bug, and thanks to it being an easy fix, released the patched version.

Thank you again for your report, I wouldn't have found this one otherwise.
